ECLECTIC WELLNESS
Hello and welcome! My name is Megan Gullion - wife, mom, and connoisseur of all things holistic. For 26 years, I've been on a beautiful journey with my husband Mike, navigating the joys and challenges of marriage and parenthood. As a homeschooling mom of two, our family faced unique challenges as my children struggled with ADD and had sensitivities to everyday products like detergents and synthetic fragrances. I spent many hours praying for a better way, and asking God to direct my path, so that my children could thrive. I was so tired of them being sick and struggling.
I wanted nothing more than to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my family. Through a series of events orchestrated by God, It became apparent that the key to our well-being lay in embracing a lifestyle free from harmful chemicals and toxins.
At the time however, our finances were very limited, and the thought of throwing out every single toxic cleaner and bath product was panic inducing. I wondered how I would be able to afford to replace everything with the “greener” versions at the store that were more expensive. This sparked my journey into creating homemade, non-toxic solutions. I started small - I ditched the scent plug-ins, and made my own hand soap and laundry soap, and found that I was actually saving money!
For twelve years now, I've been concocting my own DIY recipes for everything from household cleaners to bath soaks. Along the way, I discovered the incredible power of essential oils, incorporating them into our daily routines over ten years ago. These potent extracts not only infused our home with delightful aromas but also became invaluable allies in our pursuit of wellness. When I discovered Thieves household cleaner it was an absolute game changer!
Through my experiences and passion for holistic living, I've come to realize that creating a non-toxic home isn't just about removing harmful substances; it's about fostering a space where families can thrive, free from harmful pollutants. The Simple Steps recipe guides are a culmination of my trial and error, experience, and unwavering dedication to helping families like yours embark on a journey towards holistic and healthy living.
